Summer Glau's most famous roles are River Tam on the highly critically acclaimed Firefly TV series as well as Cameron as the lead character in Terminator. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She was born the third daughter of Marcela Quintanilla and Abraham Quintanilla. Selena began her music career at the age of 8 years old. Her father started a band. Selena's older brothers Abraham junior, who played base guitar and sister Suzette playing drums, were part of the band. Selena also sang. Selena Y Los Dino, the group she played with was named Selena Y Los Dino. She would also perform at wedding fairs as and in eating places. Selena The Los Dino band was an extremely demanding band for Selena and her siblings. In the end, they did not get much of a chance to develop into adults. Abraham Senior was a member of the group Los Dinos. Selena Y Los Dinos officially started in the year 1981. The band was the family business and the main source of income for the Quintanilla family. Quintanillas persevered despite the initially difficult financial times to make an extremely popular group. Selena Y Los Dinos became well-known in the western states towards the end of the 1980s. Selena as the group's lead singer in the group received two prizes at the Tejano Awards of 1985: Female Vocalist of the Year and Artist. Selena Y Los Dinos grew in fame and popularity since that time. They appeared on numerous television shows in Spanish, including El Show De Johnny Canales Every Sunday, and Sabado Gigante.
