Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a performer that was born in Newark New Jersey on the 9th of August 1963. The parents of her are gospel stars Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) as well as John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick also sings. While her movie performance and its soundtrack were not appreciated but her Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You as well as The Bodyguard album that accompanied it topped charts all over the world for months. It was also in 1993 that she married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition musician who gave her only child Bobbi Kristina Brown. In 1996 her daily drug usage was well documented.
