Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a performer that was born in Newark New Jersey on the 9th of August 1963. The parents of her are gospel stars Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) as well as John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick also sings. In her early years she performed in the New Hope Baptist Church Choir in Newark. At the age of she reached the age of fifteen, Houston was singing professionally as a backing vocalist with her mother on Chaka Khan's hit song in 1978 Im Every Woman. In the year 1981, she worked as a fashion model and appeared on the Seventeen album cover. She also provided back vocals for Lou Rawls and Jermaine. Beginning in 1981, she started to work as a vocalist with the New York-based funk group Material. The band's high-quality vocal performance of this group that attracted notice of major record labels such as Arista. The year 1985 saw Whitney Houston's first album was one of the most successful debut albums of all time. It featured a number of hits including How Will I know You Give Good Love, Saving All My Love For you and The Most Beautiful Love of All. It allowed her to achieve seven US charts-topping singles in a row, a feat that was more than the Beatles. It was the initial US year of release, the album had sold more than 3 million copies. After that, it was to be bought by over more than 25 million worldwide and earned her her first Grammy. The follow-up album released in 1987 Whitney which included the hits The Place Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built on her success but it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard (1992) that made her one of the top-selling performers of all time. While her movie performance and its soundtrack were not appreciated but her Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You as well as The Bodyguard album that accompanied it topped charts all over the world for months. It was also in 1993 that she married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition musician who gave her only child Bobbi Kristina Brown. In 1996 her daily drug usage was well documented.
Dana Bash (also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz) is a CNN anchor and political reporter. Her past work includes NBC, CBS and other prominent channels. She also produces certain shows on CNN's weekends including Evans & Novak Late Edition as well as Inside Politics. The awards and honors she has received include inclusion in the Women in Washington Power List" by Elle magazine. Bash is widely praised for her amazing skills as an anchor/reporter. She is a George Washington University graduate is a loving mother to one son. The couple was married twice before but is not currently married.
