Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born October 17 1992) is an acclaimed Indian actress. Keerthy appears in Tamil films as well as Telugu films, and also in a few of Malayalam. She was awarded the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri as the lead character in the Telugu Film Mahanati (2018). Additionally, she was awarded three SIIMA Awards as well as a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is the actress Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. She began her career as a child actress at the beginning of 2000 and went back to film after studying fashion design. She played the lead in Geethaanjali, a Malayalam-language film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first film projects that were not in Malayalam and was signed to appear in several Tamil film projects simultaneously. Even though the film was not a success at the box-office Her debut film was A. L. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) that she was in alongside Vikramprabhu. Because of her hectic schedule in 2015, she had no choice but to pull herself out of projects on which she already began making appearances, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. She then worked on Rajini's Remo with two short films. Also, Dhanush and she played leading roles in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film has been delayed from 2015 with reports that the film will release after September 2020, under the new name Janakitho Nenu. In 2016, Nenu Sailaja, starring Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy debuted on screen in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) alongside actor Vijay. Keerthy has also appeared as a Tamil actress in Paambhu Sattai, and an Telugu actor on Nenu Local.
