Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actor best well-known for her roles on the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters and the Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda, and Voltea pa' qui is enamored. She is also an accomplished model and dancer. Montreal born, she spent her childhood in Texas. She was trained since the age of three in many different forms. At the age of 15 she began taking part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia garnered significant fame in 2008 after she was a part of the second season of the Univision beauty pageant series Nuestra Belleza Latina. In 2010 she played the receptionist in Telemundo telenovela Aurora. The year 2015 saw her was a part-time actress in her debut film, the action drama Tattooed Love. Toubia was recognized for her performance as Shadowhunters, Shadowhunters, Toubia was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi in 2017 and 2018.
